A coverlet is a top layer of bedding that can be used in various ways: as a stand-alone blanket, layered into your bedding for extra warmth, or even used as a decorative top layer. Coverlets are thicker than a sheet but thinner than a quilt and are typically made from one layer of fabric that has been sewn with a textured design known as matelassé. Our Ridgeback Coverlet is considered midweight coverage, making it ideal for year-round use.

"The color is exactly what we were looking for. The texture and feel are great. We are very happy with our purchase."
"Got this as a gift for my Sister in Law, and she fell immediately in love with it. It has definitely become one of her permanent additions to her end of the day relaxation routine."
"This blanket is perfect for both autumn and winter temperatures! It is sized to fit “just right "."
"Granted, I haven't tried the "Wave" coverlet yet (it's on my list), so this review may be a bit biased... However, when I say that the Ridgeback is "the BEST," I mean it. Save for the times I've used it to snuggle up with on the couch, I've had this blanket on my bed since the end of spring and it has been such a lovely addition to my usual bedding. During the summer, I used it as a stand-alone blanket when the temperature at night was too warm for much else, and I'm actually surprised by how breathable it's been all season. Now that the nights are getting cooler where I'm from, I've been using it as an extra layer of warmth on top of my fall comforter—and it's been just as nice! It's textured, yet incredibly soft...and it washes and dries in my machines without issue. If you haven't bought one for yourself, DO IT. You won't be disappointed."
"Excellent quality and just the right weight. I definitely recommend. I won’t need anything else ‘til winter!"
"This coverlet is the perfect weight and texture. I am very sensitive to fabrics; the texture is so soft and you can tell the textiles are quality. I love weighted blankets and this coverlet has just enough weight to help calm you at the end of a long day. Even with it's weight, the coverlet is still breathable; making this coverlet a good option for summer or you could use it as an additional layer in the winter."
